Early in his career, while working at CBS affiliate WMAZ-TV in Macon, GA, Rick became the Gannett Broadcasting Company's youngest executive producer and spent several years working in a variety of roles in front of and behind the camera. More recently, he added a seaplane rating to his private pilot license.
